DataKind is a global nonprofit that harnesses the power of data science and AI in the service of humanity. We would love to openly introduce and share the DataKind Playbook: our globally accessible, living knowledge base that enables the reader to design, implement, and follow-up on a Data Science and AI for Good project following DataKind’s approach. For a longer session, we can demonstrate how to access and use the Playbook alongside sharing DataKind’s project process, providing the audience with some of our best practices, and gathering feedback from attendees for improvements. We can additionally summarize the development process; share lessons we have learned in codifying our quality standards across our global network of volunteers. The participant will leave this session with an understanding of how to implement a high-quality Data Science and AI for Social Good project from end-to-end.
